Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 05: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President, Mr. Rangalal Halder, has formally addressed a letter to the Chief Engineer, APWD, proposing the construction of overbridge from Carbin Cove Main Road to Hanuman Temple Main Road, Brookshabad, in Ward No. 21 to alleviate the increasing traffic congestion in the area and enhance commuter convenience.
He said that the continuous rise in vehicular movement due to local commuters and the ever-growing influx of tourists, poses challenges not only for residents but also for emergency response services and local businesses.
He emphasized that during peak hours, festive seasons, and tourist influx periods, the situation worsens significantly, making it imperative for the Administration to take proactive measures.
He has further requested the authorities to consider this matter with urgency and take the necessary steps to materialize this essential infrastructural development for the welfare of the peoples.
