Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 02: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT) celebrated National Science Day on Feb. 28 and March 1, 2025, under the theme ‘Empower Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat.’ This two-day event highlighted the Institute’s ongoing commitment to nurturing scientific curiosity, fostering innovation, and promoting leadership among its students. It was a vibrant display of creativity and technical expertise, designed to inspire and empower the next generation of scientists and innovators.
The first day of the celebration featured an innovative Exhibition on Projects, organized by the Entrepreneurship Club. Students from various Departments showcased their cutting-edge projects, demonstrating their ability to turn theoretical knowledge into practical solutions. Utilizing advanced tools like 3D printers and electronic workbenches, the students exemplified the institute’s commitment to equipping them with state-of-the-art resources and facilities to thrive in the rapidly advancing fields of science and technology.
On the second day, the Environmental Club hosted a Poster Making Competition, encouraging students to express their ideas on the role of science in building a sustainable and developed India. The event was graced by Mr. Deb Das Piak, Manager and Scientist at ISRO, as the chief guest. Mr. Das, an alumnus of the institute, praised the students for their innovative spirit and presented certificates and prizes to the winners, further motivating them to strive for excellence in science and technology.
