Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 25:A successful Awareness & Registration Drive for PMMVY Scheme was conducted by the State Hub for Empowerment of Women (SHEW) in collaboration with District PMMVY Staff of South Andaman District at Prothrapur Community Hall.
During the drive, the participants were provided with information on the eligibility criteria, benefits, and the application process of the PMMVY scheme. Additionally, the issues faced by participants during the registration process were promptly addressed. A total of 52 participants, including pregnant women, general public and Anganwadi workers of their respective areas participated.
This drive is part of an ongoing effort to make these vital services more accessible to vulnerable groups in the community. The general public and pregnant women were informed to obtain further details from their nearest Anganwadi Centers or from Department of Social Welfare.
