Hut Bay, February 23: The Table Tennis Singles and Doubles tournaments, organized by NN TT Club, came to a close on February 22, 2025, after a week of intense competition at the Mini Hall, GMSSS Hutbay.The doubles event saw six teams vie for top honors, while 12 enthusiastic players competed in the singles category.
In the Singles category, Mr. Protik Bhattacharya emerged victorious after a tough battle against Mr. Sahil. Mr. Shabir secured the third position.
The Doubles championship was claimed by the dynamic duo, Mr. Protik Bhattacharya and Mr.G.Senthil, showcasing exceptional teamwork and skill. The runner-up team, Mr. Shakeeb and Mr. Jeeshan, put up a tough fight but fell short in the closely contested final. Mr. Sahil and Mr. Shakeel secured the third position in the Doubles category.
The Tournament concluded with great fanfare, thanks to the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Shri. Prabhash Roy, Zonal Officer Hutbay. He was accompanied by other distinguished guests, including Shri. Parmanathan , Pramukh , Little Andaman Shri. Belthazer, BDO, and Shri. Rudhramurthy, Pradhan, Hutbay, who were honored as Guests of Honour. Together, they felicitated the winners and commended all participants for their remarkable dedication and sportsmanship. The tournament ended on a high note with a prize distribution ceremony, marking a successful and memorable event.
