Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 19: Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office (Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India), Sri Vijaya Puram organized an ‘Awareness Programme on MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme’ today in the Conference Hall, Directorate of Industries, Sri Vijaya Puram in association with Industries Department, A&N Administration and support of Industry Associations.
The objective of the programme was to create awareness among Entrepreneurs, Startups, and MSMEs about various Lean tools and techniques aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness by reducing wastage in processes, improving inventory management, optimizing space utilization, and minimizing energy consumption.
A detailed presentation on various MSME schemes was delivered by Shri G.K. Sinha, Assistant Director In-charge, Branch MSME-DFO. This was followed by a comprehensive technical session on LEAN Manufacturing Techniques and its implementation by Shri J.K. Singh, Joint Director, National Productivity Council, Patna.
