Diglipur, February 18: In continuation of their dharna, the PRI Members of Diglipur held a similar kind of protest in front of the Administrative Building, Diglipur today also.
As per report, the elected Members of the PRIs such as the Zilla Parishad Members, Samiti Members and the Pradhans of the Gram Panchayats under Diglipur Tehsil stood by their demands and issues raised by them in the dharna they held yesterday at the same venue and time. The dharna attendees were heard intermittently shutting their demands in slogans.
The dharna ended before 01:00 p.m. when the PRI Members were reportedly sent for by the Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur. In response to the call, the protesting PRI Members reportedly met the ACDP and there was reportedly a discussion at length on the issues raised by the PRI Members in the Chamber of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Diglipur.
The PRI Members will reportedly continue to hold their dharna tomorrow also, the report further said.
