Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 15: The District Administration, South Andaman plans to implement Swachhata Green Leaf Rating System, devised by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism under Travel for LIFE Campaign, a pioneering initiative aimed at promoting ‘Safely Managed Sanitation’ practices among hotels, resorts, guest houses, and homestays located in Swaraj Dweep and Shaheed Dweep.
The Green Leaf Rating system will sensitize the hospitality sector to follow safe sanitation practices, thereby adopting this rating system.
