Port Blair, Feb 15: Mr. S. Gandhiselvan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India, made a visit to GB Pant Hospital today, 15th Feb 2012, in the morning hours. On arrival at GB Pant Hospital, Hon’ble Minister was received by Commissioner & Secretary (Health), Director of Health Services, and Medical Superintendent, GB Pant Hospital. Hon’ble Minister visited mainly, Casualty, ICU, Dialysis Unit, Radiology Department and General Ward of the Hospital. During his visit, Hon’ble Minister interacted with the patients. Later, Hon’ble Minister held detailed discussions with the Commissioner & Secretary (Health), Director of Health Services, Medical Superintendent in presence of Specialists and other Medical Officials about the existing health facilities and future planning for providing better health care facilities to the Islanders.
