Port Blair, Feb 15: Br. MSME Development Institute, Port Blair, Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, has organised the Training Program on Business Skill Development Programme in association with Dr B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Pahar Gaon.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. V AlaguSundaram faculty i/c of Dr. BRAIT. He emphasized the importance of this programme. Shri D K Katara, Deputy Director(I/C) of the Br, MSMEDI, Port Blair briefed the participants about the role and functions of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. Shri UKA Bhat, Asstt Director detailed the participants about the schedule of programme. Smt Raji, TPO of the institute presented vote of thanks.
The programmes is intended to create awareness and develop professional and entrepreneurial skills to the professional candidates for setting up the enterprises. Apart from the eminent faculties of the Institute, various Government Departments including Directorate of Industries, professional consultants, Banks, Universities and other resource persons shall be actively involved to upgrade the skills of
the participants.
The programme was attended by about 250 participants. About 30 candidates have been selected for this programme.
