Port Blair, July 09: The Andaman & Nicobar Police proudly announce that the Police Mess at the Police Training School, the India Reserve Battalion, Armed Police Unit and the Gazetted Officers Mess have been awarded the distinguished “Eat Right Campus” certification.
The “eat right campus” initiative, spearheaded by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), aims to promote safe, healthy, and sustainable food in campuses across the country through comprehensive assessment of the food quality, hygiene practices, and sustainability measures being adopted.
This certification, effective for a period of two years, signifies the commitment of the A&N Police towards maintaining the highest standards of food safety, providing nutritious and hygienic meals to our personnel, ensuring their well-being and overall health.
The momentous achievement was made possible through the continuous guidance by the visionary leader Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, DGP, ANI, and under the supervision of Smt. Sindhu Pillai A, IPS, IGP, ANI, Smt. Monika Bharadwaj, DIGP(APU/IRBn/PTS), Shri Majeet Sheoran, Principal, PTS & Ms. Shweta K Sugathan, SP(APU)/Commandant(IRBn).
