Port Blair, Feb 25: Extension Education Institute (EEI), Hyderabad in association with Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) has organized a four days off campus training programme from 25th to 26th February, 2013 on “Extension Methods for Effective Transfer of Technology” for the officers of Agriculture & Allied Departments in the conference hall of Directorate of Agriculture, Haddo, Port Blair.
Dr. D. Jagannadha Raju, Director (Extn.), EEI was the chief guest in the inaugural function held on 25th February, 2013 in the Conference Hall Directorate of Agriculture, Haddo. In his address he requested the participants to take best use of the training for the better benefits for the farming community. And he also requested the participants for regular visits to farmers’ fields and to suggest different methods of Transfer of Technology depending on the needs of the farmers’.
Earlier, Dr. G.S. Pandey, Joint Director (Agri. Engg), A&N Administration welcomed the Chief Guest, Trainee participants and others dignitaries.
Dr. Ch. Vanugopal Reddy briefly explained the details of the training programme i.e. Extension Methods for Effective Transfer of Technology. Mr. Anjan Kumar Das, Joint Director (Agri) proposed the vote of thanks. In the said training programme various topics on Extension Methods for Effective Transfer of technology in implementation of Agriculture schemes was dealt by the resource persons Dr. Ch. Venugopal Reddy & Dr. Madhu Babu from EEI, Hyderabad. Twenty Five officials of Agriculture & Fisheries Department have attended the said training programme.
