Port Blair, Feb 09: The Directorate of Shipping Services has commissioned Enquiry of the Ship Ticket Advance Reservation System through Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). The enquiries which can be made through the IVRS of STARS are PNR Enquiry, Voyage Enquiry, Accommodation Availability Enquiry and Fare Enquiry.
The commuters can avail the services by dialing telephone numbers 03192-232742 / 03192-232714/ 03192-241887/ 03192-245555 from Feb 10, 2012 onwards. The commuters have been advised to avail this facility and plan their journey in advance to avoid last minute rush, a communication from Dte. of Shipping Services said here today.
