Port Blair, Oct 06: A two-day course on “Bakery Skills- baking and confectionery” was organized by the Department of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, DBRAIT on 5th and 6th Oct 2023 for youth/home makers for their up-skill in bakery products.
The course was conducted by visiting Master Trainer, Ms. Gayathri, from Chennai and Mr. Devakar Mondal of DBRAIT at Advance Training Kitchen Lab of the institute. Altogether, 14 candidates participated in the 2 days course. The participants were exposed to the techniques and nitty-gritties involved in making Chocolate Brownies, Cookies, Cakes, Breads, Doughnuts, Carlson, etc. The course was very well taken by the participants. All the successful participants were awarded a certificate towards the same.
