Port Blair, Feb 08: The Secretary, Ministry of Human Resources Development Department of School Education & Literacy, Govt. of India, New Delhi, Smt. Anshu Vaish is scheduled to arrive at Port Blair on February 09, 2012 on a three-day visit to the islands.
The programme of the Secretary during her stay here includes meeting with Chief Secretary and officers of A&N Administration to review the progress of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA & RMSA) in A&N Islands, inspection of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Arong in Car Nicobar, review of SSA & RMSA at Education Office in Car Nicobar and visit to Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School, Port Blair.
The Secretary on her visit to the islands will be accompanied by Additional Secretary, MHRD, Smt. Anita Kaul.
On completion of visit, the Secretary will leave for mainland on February 12, 2012.
