Port Blair, Sept 21: Issues of bus services have been frequently highlighted by the villagers of Great Nicobar Island on regular a basis specially a few days back buses breakdown issue was a point of concern.
Taking a note of this Dr Nitin Shakya, Assistant Commissioner / SDM Campbell Bay visited the STS bus depot and checked the buses personally and arranged for a repair team which will stay at Campbell Bay and take work of repair of the buses.
The Assistant Commissioner also travelled in the bus and interacted with the villagers and assured that in coming months there will be a special drive to keep the buses clean and regular servicing will be done.
