Port Blair, Sep 11: Office of the Assistant Commissioner/SDM, Campbell Bay with PRIs organized Euphoria – Musical evening at Fish Landing Beach, Campbell Bay.
The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Bora, Commanding officer in the presence of Dr. Nitin Shakya, Assistant Commissioner/SDM, Campbell Bay along with DSP, BDO, Pramukh and Mr. Venkat, Pradhan, GP Govind Nagar.
During the occasion, Dr. Nitin said that such events will not only form a positive environment but also create employment opportunities through self-help groups. He said that these activities play an important role as it keeps local youth engaged and diverts them from harmful habits like alcohol and drugs.
Nicobari dance and music were organized by Tribal Council and food was severed. More than 200 local residents enjoyed the evening and expressed their gratitude to the District Administration and Panchayat.
