Port Blair, Sep 07: The Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank Ltd., launched Micro ATM services on 07th September 2022 at Kishori Nagar, rural branch by Dr. Satyendra Singh Dursawat, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman in presence of Mr. Vaibhav Rikhari, DANICS, Assistant Commissioner (HQ), PRI members, General Public and Bank officials.
In the beginning, Mr. Komal Kumar, Manager, Mayabunder Branch, A&N State Cooperative Bank has welcomed the gathering. Mr. P. A Nasir, AGM, Mayabunder Branch, A&N State Cooperative Bank Ltd has informed that this is the first ever Micro ATM service ever introduced by any bank in the Kishorinagar area. It has led the bank to provide doorstep banking services in the rural populace, especially in the Kishorinagar region which will empower the customer to perform digital transactions like cash withdrawal, remittance and fund transfer through digital mode.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Satyendra Singh Dursawat, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, A & N Administration in his key note address informed that the Bank has filled the digital gap by introducing Micro ATM services at Kishori Nagar village which will be benefited the rural population and he urged to the General Public to utilize the services provided by the Bank.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Ratnam Thangadurai, Manager, ANStCB Ltd.
