Port Blair, Aug. 29: In the recently concluded Canoeing & Kayaking National Championship held at Udham Singh Nagar ,Uttarakhand from Aug. 22 to 24, RajinaKiro , SI of A & N Police and SandhyaKispota, PST of Education Department won Gold Medals in K-2 Women 500 Mtr.
In K-1 event, 500 Mtr, RajinaKiro won Silver Medal and in K-4 event Women 200 Mtrs, SandhyaKispota, Arpita Roy, NilamMinj and Nita Sarkar won Bronze Medals. Out of 27 teams participated in the National Championship, A & N Islands secured 6th position in overall points.
