Port Blair, Jun 06: Mr. Vinod Tiwari, Director of the movie “The Conversion” visited A&N Islands for 03 days. He visited various places like Cellular Jail and Havelock Island and after his visit, he called a press conference on 04th June at Vedanta Hotel and announced to start an acting academy at Port Blair.
He expressed his gratitude to the people of A&N Islands for the astonishing response to the movie. He said that the motive was to aware our girl child of love jihad and to protect themselves. “So far I have made 06 films and many TV Serials but this movie is one of my best films till date”, he added.
Mr. Tiwari announced plans to start an acting academy at Port Blair soon so that the interested Islanders seeking acting as a career can learn the art here in A&N Islands.
He also promised that he will direct a movie on Veer Savarkar’s life and cast more than 80% of artists from the A&N Islands. Shooting will also be planned in the Islands.
He said that the acting Institute will first start with a 03 months crash course then after analyzing the engagement, a full-fledged acting Institute will be set up in the Islands.
“Through the establishment of the film industry, tourism will also grow better in A&N Islands”, he added.
