Port Blair, Jun 05: As a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration various events are being organized throughout the country. Port Blair is also being identified among the 75 districts in the country to celebrate the launching of ICONIC WEEK on 06th June 2022 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The banking sector under the Department of Financial Services is also celebrating AKAM as the Iconic Week from 6th to 11th June 2022. The events of the ICONIC WEEK will begin with an event to be held on 06th June 2022 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi which will be graced by Prime Minister as per the schedule given. The Inaugural function will be telecasted live in Port Blair at TGCE Auditorium, Middle Point, Port Blair at 10.00 AM on 06th June 2022.
During the programme at Port Blair Banks will set up a counter at the venue for the promotion of all Flagships Schemes launched by Govt of India and enrolment under various Social Security schemes. General Public is requested to attend the programme and avail of the benefits of various schemes of Banks.
