Port Blair, Apr. 28: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,75,147 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,421 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 yrs. and 11,687 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 yrs. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 1,91,64.
A total of 1108 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands. 798 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which 110 beneficiaries were in the age group of 12-14years, 6 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 212.
290 beneficiaries were vaccinated in North & Middle Andaman District,out of which 21 beneficiaries were in the age group of 12-14years,1 beneficiary was in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 50.
20 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in Nicobar District.
