Port Blair, Apr 26: The Ld. Court of C.J.M, Mayabunder presided over by Mr. MohdRafiqueAlam convicted the accused Saw Adam, Saw Alex andSaw Johnsea in connection with Range Office, Tugapur (C.R. No. 08/14) on 31st March 2022 for violating sections 9, 39(3), 40(2) and 50 of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 punishable by U/S 51(1) of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and sentenced him to suffer simple imprisonment for 03 years and to pay a fine of Rs. 10,000/-. The State Prosecution was conducted by the Prosecution Wing, District Administration, Mayabunder.
