Port Blair, Apr 11: Gram Panchayat, Nilambur, Baratang organized a “Jan Sunvahi” and Revenue Camp Court on 10th April 2022.
Dr. NitinShakya, Assistant Commissioner/SDM, Middle Andaman and all Departmental Officers, Pradhans Gram Panchayat, Nilambur and Sundergarh, ZillaparishadSundergarh, PRIs members and the general public attended the programme.
Various pending and unsolved issues of Baratang like village roads, water supply. PHC South Creek has non-service of sugar test and x-ray, low voltage power supply, land resurvey resettlements, no regular BSNL mobile network in the South Creek and non-available BSNL staff (JE), no regular principal and not sufficient subject teachers of GSSS Oralkatcha, dangerous trees of house side were discussed.
And Tourist fiber boat owners demanded water ATM and baby feeding room at Nilambur jetty, mobile data booster in South Creek, etc.
The Assistant Commissioner said all issues are noted and the work status will be regularly supervised and try to solve issues in a time-bound manner.
