Port Blair, Apr 05: Like every year, Harinagar Matua Sangha (HMS) today organized the largest Baruni Festival of the archipelago in the Harinagar Harimandir courtyard.
This Baruni Mahotsav started today onwards, by today evening Hari devotees from different corners of the archipelago will reach the Hari Mandir located in Billiground. It is expected that like every year, this year also thousands of devotees will come from different regions of the islands. Today, the temple committee has made complete arrangements for food for thousands of devotees who reach from far and wide, it is learnt.
Later when all the devotees will reach by this evening, there will be Hari Naam Sankirtana for the whole night, and on the second day; arrangements have been made for all the devotees to have a grand meal in the afternoon. After the food, the announcement of the end of this Baruni Mahotsav will be made by the organizers on Wednesday evening.
