Port Blair, Apr 01: Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services in association with UTATMA organized a Farm School on “Modern Hygienic Biogas Production and use with NRSE” in the field at Ramnagar Village, Shaheed Dweep from 09th March 2022 to 29th March 2022. A total of 28 Farmers participated in the programme.
Dr. SubhashB.Palve, Senior Veterinary Officer, ShaheedDweep explained the importance of Bio Gas to Farmers. He conducted practical demonstrations and imparted training whereas two Scientists of the Animal Science Division of CIARI, Port Blair also participated as Resource persons and imparted training and highlighted uses of Bio Gas and urged interested Farmers for its adaption.
Mr. Dasrath Verma, Zilla Parishad Member, Shaheed Dweep and Mrs. Pinkey Das, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, and Shaheed Dweep also attended the programme and appreciated the effort of the AH&VS Department.
