Port Blair, Feb 27: Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh conducted a Homage Ceremony for Veer Savarkar in the premises of the office at Dollygunj on 26th February 2022.
Mr. Heaven, Executive Member, ANRKM, Mr. G. Anoop, Organising Secretary, ANRKM and Mr. S. Biju Pillai, General Secretary, ANRKM spoke on the occasion. Members from affiliated Associations offered their homage.
Mr. K. L. Manikandan, Vice President, and Mr. SourithMondal, Secretary, ANRKM graced the programme. The programme was conducted in seven other places in the city including Port Mout. On 4th July 1911, Veer Savarkarv was transported to Cellular jail and was later released in the year 1921. He passed away on 26th February 1966 in Mumbai.
