Port Blair, Jan 07: Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member, BJP & Former State President BJP-A&N Islands and Member Home Ministry Advisory Committee, Govt. of India expressed his sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah, National President BJP Mr. J.P. Nadda, National General Secretary (Org) Mr. B. L. Santhosh and National Secretary & Prabhari BJP-ANI Mr. Y Satyakumar for reinstatement of the abolished “Panchayat Samiti” in A & N Islands. The decision of the Union Govt. for re-establishment of abolished Panchayat Samiti of these islands shows the determination of Modi Govt. towards a participatory form of democracy.
Further he stated that the decision of the Union Government will immensely benefit villagers for developing the village infrastructure and redress their grievances and demands etc in real time. At this critical juncture when the Nation is experiencing a pandemic.
