Port Blair, Jan. 07: Considering the demand of the general public of this UT, the UT Administration had taken up the matter of reconstitution of the intermediate Panchayats which were abolished vide Notification No. 71 dt. 30/06/2020 with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
In pursuance to the approval accorded by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Intermediate Panchayats i.e. Panchayat Samitis of Diglipur, Mayabunder, Rangat, Port Blair, Ferrargunj, Little Andaman & Campbell Bay will be reconstituted in this UT shortly.
