Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 04: The State Child Protection Society, under the Directorate of Social Welfare, recently hosted an interactive and insightful competition at RGT Public School aimed at raising awareness about child rights, health, and hygiene. This impactful event sought to educate and empower young students, equipping them with essential knowledge to promote their well-being and encourage critical thinking.
A highlight of the Program was a lively quiz session where participants answered questions covering topics on their rights, health practices, and hygiene. Carefully designed to engage and inform, the quiz prompted students to think deeply about important issues, such as “What is the Right to Education?”, “Why is hand washing essential for good health?”, and “What is child protection, and why is it necessary?” This activity enabled students to explore these themes in an enjoyable format, reinforcing key information that is vital to their daily lives.
The Program led by the Program Manager, SCPS, which provided an immersive experience into child welfare topics. Through a series of dynamic and informative sessions, the program encouraged students to understand and appreciate their rights while promoting practices that contribute to their overall health and safety.
In recognition of their participation and enthusiasm, each child received a gift as a token of encouragement from the State Child Protection Society. The Headmistress of RGT Public School, Mrs. Sumati Badiya, concluded the program with a vote of thanks. Expressing deep gratitude to the State Child Protection Society and Director, Social Welfare.
