Port Blair, Dec 31: The Chairman of TSG Charitable Foundation, Mr. TSG Bhasker attended the final match and concluding ceremony of “Club Heroes Premier League IPL Fever Season 4” (Night Short Boundary Cricket Tournament) organized by Bazaar United Boys as Chief Guest at Netaji Club Ground, Aberdeen Bazaar.
He was accompanied by Councillor of Ward No. 14 Mr. Y. Joga Rao, Programme Coordinator, TSG Charitable Foundation Mr. Ameer Bux and Social Worker Mr. Saji Varghese.
A huge crowd of sports enthusiasts turned up to witness the thrilling clash between the two top teams namely Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore competing for the cup. A total of 7 teams, comprising of youths from Ward no. 4 and Ward no. 05 had participated in the tournament.
After a nail-biting encounter, Delhi Capitals emerged victorious by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore and lifted the trophy. The final match showcased the talent and competitive spirit of the participating teams.
The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony to felicitate the champions, runners-up, and outstanding players by Mr. TSG Bhasker and other dignitaries.
Mr. TSG Bhasker expressed his delight at the successful organization of the tournament. He congratulated the winner and runners-up team for displaying remarkable sportsman spirit and splendid performance in the final match. He also congratulated the organizers for holding the mega tournament and assured all possible support for further improving the playground
Mr. Bhasker said that winning and losing are part of the game. He added that such sports events are more than just games as it keeps people fit and away from negative influences.
He specifically acknowledged the contributions of Councillor Ward No. 04 Mr. Abdul Islam for taking efforts in preparing the pitch area and maintaining the ground with proper cleanliness. Also, he thanked Social Worker Mr. Kalaam for his support in organizing the tournament.
