It is informed that on 27th, 28th February 2022, heavy rain (7-11 cm) is likely to occur with thunderstorms and lightning with the gusty wind (30-40kmph) at one or two places over A&N Islands.
On 01st March 2022 thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands.
Due to the likely formation of Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal and wind speed reaching 40-50, Fishermen are advised not to venture into the Andaman Sea and the Southeast Bay of Bengal from 27th February and 28th February 2022. No Port Warning was issued.
