Port Blair, Sept 15: The counselling for admission to Four Years Integrated Course in Education viz. B.A.B.Ed. (English), B.A.B.Ed. (Hindi), B.A.B.Ed. (History) B.Sc.B.Ed. (Computer Science)and B.Sc.B.Ed. (Maths) in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair shall be held on 17th September 2021 at 9:30 a.m. in the Tagore Auditorium.
The counseling for admission to different subjects in B.A.B.Ed. will start at 9:30 a.m. and for B.Sc.B.Ed. at 11:00 a.m. The aspiring candidates are therefore requested to attend the counseling as per the above schedule.
The category-wise final list of candidates applied for admission to the above courses has already been published after attending claims and objections on 8th September 2021. It is available athttp://collegeadmission.andaman. gov.in/under “Announcements”. Candidates selected for admission to these courses during counselling session scheduled on 17th September 2021 shall be given admission on the same day and classes shall begin immediately from the next day. The selected candidates should deposit the fees and all required original certificates on the day of admission failing which their cases for admission will not be considered.
Those who fail to attend the counselling session, in time, will not be considered for admission to the course and next eligible candidate in the merit list will be considered for admission.
However, if any candidate from outer islands is unable to attend the counseling due to sudden breakdown of transportation, they are requested to intimate their position over telephone in anyone of the given numbers (Mobile No. 9434282037, 9434280223) so that their claim for admission can be protected during counseling. Such information should reach to these phone numbers by 9:30 a.m. on 17th September 2021. If no information is received, next eligible candidate will be considered for admission.

Port Blair, Sept 08: As per the instructions received from the Administration, regular academic activities have started for the academic session 2021-22 in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair w.e.f. 6th September 2021 by strictly following the UGC guidelines for reopening of colleges after Covid-19 lockdown besides SOPs laid down by A&N Administration.
All arrangements have been made in both the hostels to accommodate students who come from other islands and these hostels started functioning to accommodate for both Men and Women trainees. Trainees are therefore requested to attend regular academic activities for the academic session 2021-22 with the written consent of their parents.

All the desirous candidates who have applied for admission to these courses are requested to thoroughly examine the list for verification of their claims and objections. Port Blair, Aug 27: The written examination for admission to Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun June 2021 will be held on 28th August 2021 in three sessions from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair.
A detailed schedule of the examination with a list of candidates applied for the examination showing their Roll Number has been displayed on the College Notice Board for information of all concerned. Eligible candidates who have applied for the said examination are directed to report to the Principal at 8:30 am on 28th August 2021 in the College. No separate intimation letters will be issued to the candidates for this examination.

The B.A. (Performing Arts) – Hindustani Music Hons.) is designed to give an in-depth knowledge in the discipline of Hindustani Classical Music while allowing for exposure to subjects beyond the discipline as well.
