Port Blair, Feb. 01: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,04,415 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 22,214 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years against the target beneficiaries of 23,000.The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 5860.
A total of 1817 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 1165 beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 82 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 24 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 150.
577 beneficiaries were vaccinated in North & Middle Andaman District, out of which, out of which, 12 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 3 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 56.
75 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Nicobar District, out of which, 1 beneficiary was in the age group of 15-18years, 1 beneficiary was in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 4.
COVID-19 status in A&N Islands
Port Blair, Jan. 31: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 168 passengers who arrived here yesterday, 4 positive cases have been detected. Today, 7 flights with 800 passengers arrived, out of which, 644 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 140 passengers (4 foreign travellers) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 33 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 30 passengers, no positive case have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 21 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. At Helipad, 10 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected.
COVID-19 status in A&N Islands: 12 out of 185 Airport passengers tested COVID-19 positive
Port Blair, Jan. 30: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 185 passengers who arrived here yesterday, 12 positive cases have been detected. Today, 8 flights with 877 passengers arrived, out of which, 709 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 168 passengers (3 foreign travellers) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 34 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 31 passengers, 3 positive cases have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 8 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected.

Similarly, 21,982 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years against the target beneficiaries of 23,000.The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 5217.
A total of 402 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 312 beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 38 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 24 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 149.
58 beneficiaries were vaccinated in North & Middle Andaman District, out of which, 6 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 41.
32 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Nicobar District and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 28.

Today, 6 flights with 593 passengers arrived, out of which, 413 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 170 passengers (2 foreign travellers) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 37passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, two positive cases have been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 42 passengers, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 13 passengers were tested with RAT and no positive case has been detected.
COVID-19 status in A&N Islands: 2 out of 64 passengers tested COVID-19 positive at Airport
Port Blair, Jan. 27: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 64 passengers who arrived here yesterday, 2 positive case has been detected. Today, 6 flights with 583 passengers arrived, out of which, 480 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 95 passengers (10 foreign travellers) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 10 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, one positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 46 passengers, 5 positive cases have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 24 passengers were tested with RAT and no positive case has been detected. At Helipad, test was conducted on 2 passengers, no positive case has been detected. Today, till 3pm, 33 eligible persons were vaccinated.

COVID-19 status in A&N Islands
Port Blair, Jan. 25: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 129 passengers who arrived here yesterday, one positive case has been detected. Today, 10 flights with 575 passengers arrived, out of which, 440 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 135 passengers and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 15 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 39 passengers, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 19 passengers were tested with RAT and one positive case has been detected. RT-PCR was conducted on 14 crew members of MV Bambooka, the reports of which are awaited. At Helipad, test was conducted on 8 passengers, no positive case has been detected.
27 out of 81 passengers, who arrived yesterday, tested COVID-19 positive
Port Blair, Jan. 23: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 81 passengers who arrived here yesterday, 27positive case has been detected. Today, 6 flights with 593 passengers arrived, out of which, 486 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on101passengers (4foreign traveler) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 23 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, one positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 30 passengers, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 3 passengers were tested with RAT and no positive case has been detected. RTPCR test was conducted on 14 crew members of M.V Chouldari, reports of which are awaited.
