Port Blair, Feb 15: In view of the steady decline in COVID-19 cases, the existing SOP issued vide order No. 70 dt. 03.02.2022 of Directorate of IP&T, A&N Administration in respect of Sound & Light Show at National Memorial Cellular Jail including its Museum and Light & Sound Show at NSCB Island and day visit to NSCB Island has been revised with immediate effect. As per the revised SOP, the timing of Sound & Light show, museums is as mentioned below:

(English – Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Hindi – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday)
NSCB Island (day visit) 9 am – 4 pm
Sound & Light Show at NSCB Island 6 pm – 7 pm
(Hindi all days except Wednesday)
Any other orders or advisories issued by Govt. of India, A&N Administration or any other Competent Authority will also have to be followed.

Port Blair, Feb. 14: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 188 passengers who arrived here yesterday, no positive case has been detected. Today, 10 flights with 1523 passengers arrived, out of which, 1291 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 212 passengers (8 foreign travellers) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 28 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 47 passengers, no positive case have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 33 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. At Helipad, RAT was conducted on one passenger and was found negative.
Meanwhile, a total of 537 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 229 beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 6 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 13 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 51.
165 beneficiaries were vaccinated in North & Middle Andaman District, out of which, 2 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 3 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 31.
143 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Nicobar District, out of which, 1 beneficiary was in the age group of 15-18 years and 3 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 36.

Port Blair, Feb. 11: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,05,947 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,022 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 7674.
A total of 716 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 405 beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 13 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 12 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 79.
252 beneficiaries were vaccinated in North & Middle Andaman District, out of which, 7 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 2 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 44.
59 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Nicobar District, out of which, 21beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years.

Today, 10 flights with 1330 passengers arrived, out of which, 1114 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 198 passengers (11foreign travellers) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 55 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 44passengers, no positive case have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 38 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. At Helipad, 10 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected.

Port Blair, Feb. 10: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 142 passengers who arrived here yesterday, 3 positive cases have been detected. Today, 10 flights with 1326 passengers arrived, out of which, 1061 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 246 passengers (11foreign travellers) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 52 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 50 passengers, no positive case have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 35 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. RT-PCR was conducted on 14 crew members of MV Strait Island, the report of which is awaited. Today, till 3pm, 1259 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated.

 

Port Blair, Feb. 09: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,05,689 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 22,925 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years against the target beneficiaries of 23,000.The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 7248.
A total of 1199 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands today. 753 beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 17 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 14 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 100.
365 beneficiaries were vaccinated in North & Middle Andaman District, out of which, 14 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 46.
81 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Nicobar District, out of which, 1 beneficiary was in the age group of 15-18 years.

Today, 7 flights with 876 passengers arrived, out of which, 738 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 134 passengers (10 foreign travellers) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 44 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 39 passengers, one positive cases have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 31 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. RTPCR test was conducted on one crew member of MV Bambooka, report of which is awaited. At Helipad, test was conducted on 8 passengers, no positive case has been detected.

385 beneficiaries were vaccinated in North & Middle Andaman District, out of which, 3 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 3 beneficiaries was in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 51.
139 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Nicobar District, out of which, 2 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years.
