Port Blair, Mar. 6: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 202 passengers who arrived here yesterday, no positive case has been detected. Today, 18 flights with3007passengers arrived, out of which, 2700 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 222 passengers and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 14 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 46 passengers, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 12 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected.

As per data available, a total of 6,07,508 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,183 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18.The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 8637.
A total of 106 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands. 87eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated inSouth Andaman District, out of which, 1 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 4 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 22.
19 beneficiaries were vaccinated in North & Middle Andaman District, out of which, 2 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 4.

Similarly, 23,178 beneficiaries are vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary doses of vaccine so far stood at 8563.
A total of 69 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which, 2 beneficiaries were in the age group of 15-18 years, 2 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 14.
COVID-19 status in A&N Islands
Port Blair, Feb. 23: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 315 passengers who arrived here yesterday, no positive cases have been detected. Today, 13 flights with 1979 passengers arrived, out of which, 1686 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 274 passengers (9 foreign travellers) and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 56 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 30 passengers, no positive case have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 26 passengers were tested with RAT, one positive case has been detected. RT-PCR test was conducted on 14 crew members of MV Strait Island, the report of which is awaited. At Helipad, 4 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected.

During RAT conducted on 31passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 23 passengers, no positive case have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 34 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. At Helipad, 15 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected.

During RAT conducted on 44passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 45passengers, no positive case have been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 6 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. RT-PCR-test was conducted on 14 crew members of MV. Bambooka, reports of which are awaited, a press release from Directorate of IP&T said.
