Port Blair, Jan 03: In the honour of a Bengalee Poet of 70s Shri Debanjan Chakrabarti [Addl. Director General (M&C), Press Information Bureau, GoI], Editor ‘AU’ – a Kolkata-based RNI-registered Bengali Little Magazine, a literary get-together was arranged by ‘BAAKPROTIMA’, the solitary RNI-registered Bengali Little Magazine of A&N Islands in its premises at Junglighat, Port Blair on Saturday, the 02nd January 2016 at 7.00 PM.
A number of local poets and literary personalities including S/Shri Birendra Kishore Talukdar, Raisuddin Gayen, Barun Banerjee, Chittaranjan Roy read their self-composed poems and inter-acted with Shri Chakrabarti regarding the present trend of Bengali literature in this archipelago.
