Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 05: Pankh NGO, dedicated a special day to visiting the homes of young children with special abilities to bring joy and support their families. The team spent meaningful moments with the children, fulfilling some of their needs and sharing heartfelt interactions with their loved ones. By personally visiting their houses, Pankh members aimed to spread smiles and remind families of the strength and love that binds communities together. The initiative emphasized the importance of celebrating and uplifting these incredible individuals not just on special occasions, but throughout the year. In addition to offering emotional and material support, Pankh focuses on empowering mothers of children with disabilities to become self-reliant. By providing tools like stitching machines and promoting small-scale farming, the group helps mothers generate income and achieve financial independence. This holistic approach ensures that families receive sustainable support, creating opportunities for growth and resilience while improving the lives of the children they work to uplift. This initiative was led by Pankh Founder & President Komal Anand along with members Pushpa Rao, Sashi, and Renu Pandey and Anita Mazumdar.
