Port Blair, Feb 29: The Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh laid foundation stones for two developmental works to be taken up by ZPSA in the coming days i.e “Addition, alteration, repair and maintenance of existing RCC double storied Guest house at Zilla Niwas campus under Zilla Parishad, South Andaman” and “SITC of flood lights (LED) at Vivekanands Ground, Vivek Nagar at Bachrapahad under Chouldari Gram Panchayat” in presence of Ms. Smitha R. IAS, CEO, ZPSA, Mr. Boominathan, Up-Adhyaksh, ZPSA, Mrs. Pramila Kumari, Zilla Parishad Member Chouldari, other Zilla Parishad Members, Panchayat Samiti Member & PRI members of Chouldari constituency besides the technical officers of ZPSA and members of the general public of the area. Gracing the respective occasions, the Adhyaksh stated that the Zilla Parishad has taken up a spree of developmental projects for the socio-economic development of rural masses especially in the last one year and would continue to strengthen infrastructures in rural areas to ease the life of rural population. A Martial Art demonstration by Mr. Dhamain Tirkey, Kudo Coach and group was one of the main attractions of the function at chouldari.
