Port Blair, Feb 07: The Election Commission for UTs has called upon all for General Elections in constituencies of all Gram Panchayats (except Gram Panchayats of Netaji Nagar and Hutbay), Panchayat Samities, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman and Zilla Parishad, North and Middle Andaman and all wards of Port Blair Municipal Council notification of which has been issued on 04th of February 2022 by the Administrator of the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The Nomination process of the Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samities, Zilla Parishad (SA & NMA) and all Wards of Municipal Council have started from 04.02.2022.
Till date i.e. on 07.02.2022 (Monday) 5 nominations have been received for Gram Panchayat Member, 2 nominations have been received for Pradhan, 3 nominations have been received for Panchayat Samiti and 2 nominations for Municipal Council;
