Port Blair, Aug 02: The Term End Examination for June, 2021 of Indira Gandhi National Open University is going to commence from 3rd August, 2021 and will conclude on 9th September, 2021 for the final year of Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes along with their backlogs. The examinations for Diploma, PG Diploma, Certificate and PG Certificate programmes will also be held from 3rd August, 2021. The University has established 766 nationwide examination centres including 19 overseas centres and 80 centres in Jail for jail inmates. Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips) have been issued to 423849 eligible students who had applied for appearing in the Term End Examination.
In A & N Islands, the IGNOU conducts exams at 6-locations, namely: JNRM,-Port Blair (Ph. Noo.03192-237078), Hut Bay (03192-284300), Car Nicobar (Ph No. 03193-265037), Kamorta (03192-263225) Campbell Bay (Ph. No.03193-264307) and Mayabunder (Ph. No. 03193-276462). All exam centres are functional IGNOU Study Centre. No exams on Sundays. The exam timings are: 10 AM to 1 PM and 2-5 PM. The students may download the Hall Tickets from the University website www.ignou.ac.in and appear in the examination.
Students finding difficulty in downloading Hall Ticket may visit exam centre, 3-days prior to exam, to check the name in examinees list. Nearly 6000 students will appear in June-2021 exams in entire A & N Islands. Students are advised to be in possession of the valid IGNOU Student Identity Card issued by the University during the Examination. The mobile phones are not permitted inside the examination hall. All the students appearing in the exam are requested to follow the CORONA PROTOCAL issued by the Govt. of India to contain the spread of COVID-19.
