Port Blair, Dec 14: A Jarawa boy, namely Nohal, nearly 12 year old, was referred to G B Pant Hospital nearly two weeks back from Kadamtala Hospital after he was bitten by a snake. During treatment the right thumb of the Jarawa Boy was amputated for his safety. The boy is presently doing well and there is a plan to shift him back to Kadamtala tomorrow, for which RT-PCR COVID test of the Jarawa boy has already been conducted, sources in health department informed.
