Diglipur, September 01: A 85-year-old man, who was earlier tested COVID19 positive, has been discharged from the Community Health Center, Diglipur, after he recovered completely, said the Chief Medical Officer of CHC Diglipur, Dr. Siddha Raju.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, Dr. Raju said that the patient came to the hospital a week before and he was tested positive for Corona after treatment. In the initial days, he was under oxygen as his saturation level was 91 but then slowly he recovered.
Dr. Raju gave the entire credit to his team taking care of the COVID ward in the hospital especially to Dr. Amir Khan, Medical Officer, and Dr. Suresh, Medical Specialist.
He further explained that all the staffs taking care of the COVID ward in the hospital, are working for 07 days continuously and are then given 07 days’ leave.
He also expressed gratitude to the owner of the DCay Tower Lodge, Diglipur, who is allowing the workers of the COVID ward to stay at their lodge for free.
