Four accused Juveniles of double murder sent back to Juvenile Home

Port Blair, Aug 08: All four accused of Juvenile Home Double Murder case have been sent back to Juvenile Home by Andaman and Nicobar Police Department. Before handing over the juveniles to Social Welfare Department, Special Juvenile Police Unit interrogated them thoroughly and recovered all suspected murder weapons, some cloths and iron rods.
As there is a clear cut direction from the Court that no uniformed person should be posted in and around the Juvenile Home, for now Police Department is not even thinking of posting any armed guard in the Juvenile Home for protection. It seems that the Social Welfare Department now will have to take care of the protection of their own staffs, who will now be posted in the Juvenile Home.
