Port Blair, Aug 06: Though the Andaman and Nicobar Police have saved the day by apprehending two remaining Juveniles from Burmanallah Forest this morning but now another hurdle is making things difficult for the Department.
At present the A & N Police doesn’t have a Myanmarese Translator at Port Blair. The police jawan, who was trained as Myanmarese Translator has been transferred to Campbell Bay recently and this is causing delay in interrogation, sources told Andaman Sheekha. As two of the accused, among four juveniles are Myanmarese, police department is finding it difficult for communicate with them and to record their statements.
However, sources have confirmed that the Police Department is arranging another translator who may join the interrogation tomorrow or the day after.
At present the Police Department is badly in need of a translator because till now it is not clear, who had actually master-minded the great escape and murder. Though interrogation of two Indian Juveniles is almost over but police department is expecting that some more facts will come out after interrogation of both Myanmarese Juveniles.
