Port Blair, Nov 05: Around 10 feet long and 4kgs in weight, highly poisonous King Cobra Snake, have been rescued from Garacharma area this evening at around, 07:00pm.
As per reports, on receiving a complaint from a House at Garacharma, Deputy Ranger, Mr Manjit Singh immediately reached the spot and rescued the highly poisonous snake.
This is a longest King Cobra Snake that has been rescued by the Wildlife Department, till now.
Even being a holiday Deputy Ranger, Mr Manjit Singh and his team rescued 3 snakes today from different parts of the city.
The King Cobra Snake is presently shifted in the Mini Zoo, Haddo.
