Port Blair, July 02: A Ganja Peddler Chiranjeev Bagchi, 21 years a resident of Nimbudera has been arrested by the Tylerabad Police Unit with around 1.2kgs of Ganja yesterday at Garacharma near TTI College.
On a tip off, the SHO Tylerabad Police Unit, Inspector Sahil Shamsuddin along with Sub-Inspector Jeevan nabbed the accused at 1245 hrs. As per sources, the accused bought this huge quantity of Marijuana from Kolkata based hawker and was selling it in small packets of 5 grams each.
This is a very huge success for the Andaman Nicobar Police as day by day the Ganja Peddlers are increasing in and around the city.
