46th Annual Panguni Uthiram celebrated at Mayabunder

Mayabunder April 10: The 46th Annual festival namely PANGUNI UTHIRAM was celebrated at Arulmighu Kathirmalai Kandan Temple at Mayabunder. The procession started from lord Ganesh Temple, Dhanapur via Lord Siva temple, sita Ram Temple, Ayyapa Temple and Kalimandir to Lord Murugan Temple, where more than 50 devotees performed the Fire Walk including men, children and women. The Pnner kavadi, Vel Kavadi walked form shri Jai Ganesh Temple and ended with a holy fire at lord Murugan Temple. More than 3000 persons were gathered. There was Annadhanam in the noon organized by the Arulmighu Kathirmalai Kandan Temple committee and more than 3000 persons enjoyed the Annadhanam.
