Diglipur, R K Gram, May 15: A 62 year old person has been arrested by Diglipur Police for allegedly raping a three year old child.
According to details the accused Akhil Shil, a barber by profession is residing in a rented house at R K Gram of Diglipur. The family of the victim also lives in the neighbourhood.
As per complaint yesterday when the minor girl was playing outside her house the accused lured her inside his room and committed the rape.
Later mother of the girl came to the rescue when she heard cries of her daughter. Soon the girl was brought to CHC Diglipur, where it was declared that the girl was raped.
Police arrested the accused immediately. A & N Police is investigating the matter further.
