Port Blair, January 04: One person has been arrested from Pranashala area of Middle Andaman for allegedly molesting a mentally challenged lady of his village.
As per details, 31 year old accused Mr. Aganius Lakra was nabbed yesterday night following a complaint registered by the brother of the 44 year old mentally challenged lady.
As per reports, Mr Aganius Lakra used to enter the house of the woman from the window after consuming alcohol and used to sexually molest her.
It is learnt that, yesterday when the brother of the woman was passing through the room he witnessed the accused sexually molesting his sister after which, he immediately registered a case in this regard in the Rangat Police Station.
The Police has registered a case under section 354/457/342/427 IPC against the accused Mr Aganius Lakra and produced him in the Mayabunder court. It is learnt that the accused has been sent to the judicial custody.
