Port Blair, Apr 22: Mr. B.P.Ray, MP has taken up the matter of filling up of all deficient civilian post under the Chief Engineer’s Establishment of MES, A&N Zone with the Defence Minister on 13.12.2011.
In his reply dated 26.03.2012, Mr. A.K. Antony, the Defence Minister has now informed that the matter has been got examined. It is informed that all the vacant posts of complete MES including those in CE A&N Zone for the period 2009-10 to 2011-12 have been released by HQ in the current year and vacancies passed on to various recruiting agencies such as SSC, CE’s Command etc. for initiating recruitment action.
“As part of direct recruitment, 2149 vacancies have been allotted to HQ.CE Southern Command for recruitment. A portion of it will also be allotted to CE (A&N) Zone. Further, since vacancies are filled up through open completion and wide publicity is being given the eligible local candidate of A&N region shall have fair chance of selection,” the Minister mentioned in his letter.

Mr B.P.Ray has taken agood step as our”MP” but,in our andamane&nicobar MES department has making their own rules,They are not following whatever they publish in the newspaper (date 29 dec 2012)also they was not given the reasult proparly.
